A Fantasmic! Night

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Fantasmic!, annual passholders were able to pick one of four nights to see a special performance of it after normal park hours. My best friend and I love special events, so we knew we HAD to go. We went on May 14th. We arrived around 10pm and stayed until 1am.
There were a few attractions open on the west side, so we went on Indy first thing. It's the only ride Melodie still isn't tall enough for, so I never get to go on. I love that ride! We went to see what kind of merchandise there was, but just like on Leap Day, there was a dismal display. There was only a $30 shirt and a $60 hoodie. Then we had to check out the special food. Cindy got some kind of glowy drink. The cupcake tempted me, but there was way too much frosting. It was pretty (a cupcake with a dragon is always a good thing), but I would have loved a chocolat logo. Fantasmic! was just about to start and we picked a spot on the side by Harbor Galley. Their special food item was a bacon mac n cheese hot dog. Had to try that! We got one to eat while we watched Fantasmic! There was a special intro on a screen of water that was pretty neat.
I love watching things like this with other passholders. They cheer like crazy at all the best times (like when Mickey appears). That just makes it so fun.
On our way out, character were at the train station waving goodbye.
