3 Families From Out of Town = 3 Days at Disneyland

Actually, we didn't spend one day at Disneyland with each family. We spent two days with the Alitas and one day with the Harts and Nena & Darlene. Here's the highlights.
The Alitas came up from San Diego because they had family in from Utah. The first day we only joined them for about three hours.
The Haunted Mansion stopped in a very dark place. To entertain us, I tried to get a picture of Melodie and Emma. It was so dark that I wasn't very successful. Eventually I got a decent one. The girls thought this was so funny.

They are just too cute together!
The next day we went prepared to spend the whole night with them at Disneyland, but poor Emma was really sick. They went home shortly after we arrived, but I had promised Melodie a night at Disneyland, so the two of us had dinner then watched Mickey's Soundsational Parade at Disneyland.
Melodie loved the princesses, of course. I was thrilled that there was a Peter Pan section.
After the parade we went to DCA to see World of Color.
I really like WoC, but it Melodie couldn't see very well and it was hard to keep her on my back the whole time. About 5 min. before the end she turned to me with a look of panic and said she had to go potty. So, we missed the end. But that was okay, because we got to the trams before a majority of the people.
A week later we met up with the Harts and Nena & Darlene. This ended up being a pretty big group, so we broke up into various smaller groups throughout the day.
We started off at Big Thunder Mountain which is Melodie's favorite ride at Disneyland. She was also thrilled to go on a swinging cage on Mickey's Funwheel.
We had dinner at Plaza Inn. Toward the end of the night Melodie was having a great time riding with Darlene on the electric wheelchair and trading pins.
We are so glad we were able to spend time with these friends at one of our favorite places!

Since we go frequently, it's fun to notice when things changed. On these visits I noticed that Ariel's hair had changed in her Undersea Adventure.
It used to look like the soft serve ice cream, kind of swirly and going up.
I also loved all the new Alice things going up at DCA.

All you Wonderland fans are in for a treat!
